Pick Your Own

£5.00

This summer, bring your friends and the family to experience the joy of picking your own beautiful British blooms. Soak up the lovely setting in the heart of the Cheshire countryside and feel free to stay a while, bring a picnic to make the most of your visit or get creative and bring your art supplies too.

I grow a wide variety of flowers perfect for cutting and whilst they may not all be in bloom at once, there will always be a great selection of colours, shapes and sizes to choose from along with foliage and filler to make the perfect floral display. These are all grown in a natural and chemical free system promoting sustainability and encouraging biodiversity.

You can choose from three sizes of container to pick into from £10 jam jars, to a £20 mason jar or small zinc vase up to a £35 bucket. If no one in your group is picking there is a £2 entry fee per person.

The vessel you choose is yours to keep so your flowers stay hydrated on their journey home and if you return to refill it with flowers again this summer you’ll receive a 10% discount. This discount also applies to anyone returning with a bucket from 2025 PYO workshops.

Snips will be provided and I’ll be on hand to answer any questions you’ve got and provide any advice you need.

I’ll be open 10am - 4pm every Friday and Saturday from the 31st July - 22nd August and on selected dates through June, July, September and hopefully into October too weather permitting. You can find the dates and times in the drop down list and I’ll keep social media up to date also.

As a small business and one man band, it really helps me with planning if you can book a space. There is a £5 deposit (per car group) which will be deducted from your final spend. Walk ins will also be available unless I reach capacity via pre booked spaces. I take cash or card but if paying by cash, please try to bring the right change where possible.

If you would like to bring a larger group please get in touch to discuss. Private PYO sessions can also be arranged for groups of 6+

Further Information.

Grove and Green is a working flower farm. The ground is uneven underfoot and I recommend closed toe shoes.

Children are more than welcome and actively encouraged to join these sessions but must be supervised at all times and are only to use the snips provided at their parents discretion. Well behaved dogs are also welcome but just remain on leads due to livestock in neighbouring fields.

PYO sessions are sadly not easily wheelchair accessible. due to the uneven nature of the field.

PYO events are very much an outdoor experience and will still go ahead in light rain so please dress accordingly. We do have a small area of shelter available should it be necessary.

It is important to bear seasonality in mind. Not all of the field will be blooming all at once but there will always have a good selection of flowers available.

I will be on hand to answer any questions but this will be an unguided session.

Terms and Conditions.

In the event of extreme weather conditions forcing us to cancel, it will be possible to move your booking to an alternative date or receive a full refund.

If you are no longer able to attend a PYO event you have booked, refunds are not available. It is no problem to send someone in your place or with at least 48 hours notice it is possible to move your booking to an alternative date where there is availability.

No more than 5 stems of any one flower may be cut unless stated.

If you wish to pick additional flowers once your vessel is full, these will be charged at £1 per stem.
