Funeral Flowers

Sustainable floral tributes to say farewell to the people you will never forget.

All of my farewell flowers are created with your loved one in mind. I work with you to create a tribute fitting their personality, to celebrate the life they lived and things they loved.

I specialise in creating shareable arrangements so the flowers can live on beyond the funeral service, be utilised to add colour to the wake and/or be enjoyed at home where you could even consider drying a few to create a lasting memorial. In the case of living arrangements, they can be enjoyed for years to come by planting any bulbs and plants within your garden.

With the exception of jam jar baskets and boot/shoes, all of my arrangements are 100% biodegradable and are suitable for use at both traditional funerals and green burial sites. They are designed to leave an impact on hearts and minds and not the planet with no floral foam or single use plastic used in any of my work.

Where possible all flowers and foliage will be picked from my flower field. At times and especially during the winter months it may be necessary to supplement with bought in flowers. I will always strive to find alternative British suppliers but if necessary I can import to meet special requests. If there are particular flowers or foliage in yours or your loved ones garden blooming at the time of the funeral I am happy to cut and incorporate these into any designs.

I am always happy to work with new ideas to craft truly personal flowers and you are welcome to make an appointment to visit me at my home/field to talk about your wishes.

  • Shareable Casket Sprays

    Created using between 4 and 8 bouquets, these can easily be divided following a service to be placed in vases for a wake and then shared amongst relatives and friends. From £170 for 80cm, £215 for 100cm and £300 for 140cm

  • Shareable Garden Basket

    Available in 3 sizes and made up of either 6,9 or 12 jam jar posies that can be used as pretty table decorations following a service and shared amongst relatives and friends. From £120 for small, £170 for medium and £230 for large with a small refund available on return of the basket.

  • Boots/Shoes

    For hikers, gardeners, runners etc, there are often a pair of shoes synonymous with a person. They can be filled with flowers to create a poignant tribute. Arrangements will be made in containers so no damage will be done to the shoes. £75 for a pair.

  • Fresh Flower Wreaths

    A symbol of unending love. Made on a completely biodegradable willow base using British moss and twine with the best of the seasons flowers. From £75.

  • Living Wreath

    Similar to a fresh floral wreath but using seasonal bulbs and plants that can be planted at the graveside or shared out and taken home to create a lasting memorial in a garden. Fresh flowers can also be added in to give you the best of both worlds. From £45.

  • Hand Tied Sheaf

    A simple, flat backed sheaf to be laid on the coffin. You can also opt for a layered sheaf display where they can be placed atop of one another down the length of the coffin, allowing up to 4 sheafs for full coverage. An easily shareable option. From £75 per sheaf.

Delivery

Delivery to your chosen funeral director is included within a 5 mile radius of CW11 4SB.

Beyond 5 miles, dependent on availability, I charge £1 per mile up to a maximum of 15 miles.

Collections are also welcome.
